March 24, 2022 | Sydney Flames news

The Flames showed nothing but heart and determination in our 2021-22 season and our players are ready to show you what it takes to be a professional basketball player.

On Saturday, April 2, the Hoops Capital Academy will be running a Train Like a Flame Clinic with the players from the Brydens Sydney Uni Flames. The clinic will be run at Auburn PCYC from 11:30am to 2pm and will cost $50.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE TRAIN LIKE A FLAME CLINIC

The Train Like a Flame clinic is a development camp for males and females aged from Under 8s to Under 18s.

This is an exciting opportunity to meet and learn directly from the players themselves. The players will put participants through a range of individual skill sessions, team-based concepts and gameplay. The day will be split into two age-appropriate time slots to allow for targeted trainings.

The Flames’ General Manager Karen Dalton said that this program will be a great learning experience.

“We are really excited about our Train like a Flame Clinic,” she said.

“Players will have a chance to meet and greet the players as well as have a quality basketball development experience. It is very rare that we get all the players together for a community event”.

“I think this will be a really fun way for us to finish off our season,” she said.

“Usually, our community commitments require one or two of us, so having everyone together engaging with our fans will be fun.”
