Week two of the Community Blitz is underway
The Brydens Sydney Uni Flames are going into their second week of the Community Blitz.
The Blitz is a Brydens Community initiative that enables Flames players to be role models in the community and work with local associations to encourage more women and girls to play basketball.

The first week of the program was a massive success. The Flames have visited local associations like the Hill Hornets and the Sutherland Sharks as well as hosting free camps in Coffs Habour, Nowra, Port Maquarie, and Wollongong.
The feedback from participants and parents has been outstanding, with the girls learning from the best the WNBL has to offer.
You can see a full gallery of our camps on our Facebook page here.
With guidance from the Hoops Capital Academy coaches, the Flames have taught young basketballers key skills and life lessons through their experience as professional athletes.
The Flames will continue the Community Blitz this week as they’ll visit more schools and associations including a practice session with the NSW Under 18’s team.
The HCA will host a clinic fully run by the Sydney Uni Flames on Saturday, April 2 at 11:30am at Auburn PCYC. Learn more about the program here.
