Fire to feature at JCU Open Day

James Cook University will throw open its doors on Sunday for its annual Open Day and the JCU Townsville Fire will be in attendance.
Championship-winning stars Mia Murray and Rachael McCully will be manning the club’s shootout system, along with head coach Claudia Brassard.
Thousands of prospective students, their families and other community members are expected to head to JCU’s Douglas campus.
Open Day is a great opportunity to learn more about what JCU has to offer - whether you’re looking for your first degree, a career change or just want to learn more about the University.
Approximately 8,000 people are expected to attend the event which will include information sessions, career talks, and campus tours, plus plenty of fun, hands-on activities and competitions.
For the first time, visitors will be able to use the free JCU Open Day app to navigate the campus, view the activities on offer and receive notifications about events happening near them.
