Lonergan Project Services poised for title defence
Lonergan Project Services will return to defend their title at tomorrow’s Karrie Webb Challenge at Rowes Bay Golf Club.
Having taken out the inaugural competition at Willows last year, Lonergan Project Services are one of a number of returning teams including wilson/ryan/grose lawyers and the Townsville Bulletin.
As last year’s major prize winner, the Lonergan Project Services team won a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play 18 holes with Fire Ambassador Karrie Webb.

Earlier this year, the seven-time major champion joined Andrew Drummond, Keith and Rohan Metcalfe and Michael Gatis on the greens at Rowes Bay
“The boys really enjoyed it,” Keith Metcalfe reported.
“Some of the shots were pretty ugly – and none from Karrie.
“Karrie was absolutely wonderful and her participation was very much appreciated.”
More than a dozen teams are scheduled to take part in tomorrow’s Karrie Webb Challenge with tickets still available until tonight.
