Lucky Fire Fan to Shoot for Free Car

There’ll be plenty of shots taken when the Fire hosts Southside in round 14 of the WNBL but the most crucial one won’t be during the game. A lucky spectator will win a car if they nail an attempt for the halfway line. Fire General Manger Sam Pascoe is delighted Audi’s added extra incentive for fans to attend the clash.

“Audi are one of the major sponsors of the JCU Fire and we’re very proud of our partnership with them. They’re a local business supporting our local team which is just wonderful, and they’ve gone one better this season and they’re actually offering a fan a chance to win their very own Audi Q2.”

Audi Sales Manager Gary Robinson knows first time fans will enjoy the experience, especially if they drive out of the stadium in an Audi Q2.

“We’re want to promote the Fire, we’re really proud of our partnership with the club. We’ve been to games, we love the atmosphere, and we’d like as many people as possible to come along and join in.”

Robinson has had fantastic feedback about the vehicle, from one of the Fire’s co-captains.

“The car itself is the one Lauren Nicholson has been driving during the season. She dropped in with it the other day and it was a lot cleaner than I expected so I think she’d had it fully detailed. Maybe she might sign the dashboard or something like that but I’m sure she’d love to give them a run down on how the car works.”

Nicholson will be a little hesitant handing over the keys.

“I love the Q2, I’m super lucky to have been driving it around. I am disappointed that someone has a chance to win it though I don’t want anyone to take it off my hands, but no Audi have done a great job in supporting us.”
