The Townsville Fire is thrilled to announce the signing of WNBA standout Amanda Zahui B, marking a significant milestone for both the player and the Fire as she becomes the first Swedish player to join the team.

Amanda Zahui B, known for her exceptional skills and versatility on the court, brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to the Townsville Fire. The 193cm center has had a successful career in the WNBA, having previously played for the New York Liberty, Washington Mystics, and most recently the Indiana Fever .

Amanda Zahui B expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Townsville Fire, emphasizing her eagerness to embrace the challenge and contribute her best to the team’s success.

Amanda will arrive in Townsville this week and join the team on their nine-day road trip which will see them play, Canberra, Southside and Sydney.
