The JCU Townsville Fire will need to re-capture their best form in the finals after slumping to an 83-90 loss to the UC Capitals.
With a post-season berth assured, the Fire never found their rhythm against the Caps and came up narrowly short and will now face the Sydney Uni Flames in a best-of-three series.
