Damsel & Sprout and Dendy Cinemas join the UC Capitals as official event partners

While the team will play out the season in the Queensland Hub, the UC Capitals will have the support of Damsel & Sprout and Dendy Cinemas to deliver a range of local events to engage sponsors, members and fans.

Directors of Damsel & Sprout, Ashleigh Gleeson and Craig Ebeling, said that they are thrilled to work with the Capitals this season.

“We’re excited to create local events to connect members, sponsors, and fans and give them the opportunity to celebrate the team they are so passionate about. We know the girls will do us proud, and just maybe, if we’re loud enough, they’ll be able to hear us in North Queensland,” said Mrs Gleeson.

The first event will give sponsors the opportunity to watch the UC Captials season opener on the big screen at Dendy Cinemas.

General Manager of Dendy Cinemas, Leigh Barnett, said that they are proud to be joining the Caps family.

“The uniqueness of this year has forced many businesses to think outside the square. We’re thrilled to be a part of bringing Caps’ games to members, fans and sponsors,” said Mr Barnett.

Lucille Bailie, General Manager of the UC Capitals, said that despite the unique challenges of this season, it’s great to bring supporters together.

“We’re so thrilled to have the experience of local event partners like Damsel & Sprout and Dendy Cinemas on board to help deliver an exciting series of Canberra based events.

“We know how much the Caps value and rely on the support of their 6th player – their vocal members and supporters – so having Damsel and Sprout and Dendy Cinemas help us gather and channel that support for the Caps this season will ensure we continue to play our part in supporting our favourite athletes,” said Mrs Bailie.
