KJR renews sponsorship with the UC Capitals to bring back the Corporate Cup

Technology-focussed strategic advisory firm, KJR, has renewed their sponsorship with the UC Capitals for a third season.

General Manager of KJR ACT and NSW, Andrew Hammond, said that they have been seriously impressed by the professionalism of the entire Caps team, both on and off the court.

“With all the challenges that 2020 has thrown up it’s important we continue to support our local sporting heroes, and we’re excited to be on the Cap’s journey towards a back to back to back WNBL Championship,” said Mr Hammond.

The KJR ACT branch helped the UC Capitals launch the inaugural Corporate Cup last year as naming rights sponsor, uniting several local businesses for a one-day social 3×3 tournament.

The partnership extension means that the KJR Corporate Cup will return again, with more information regarding dates and registration to be announced in the coming months.

“As a national company, this year KJR plans to embed the story and appeal of the Caps within the wider KJR Collective.

“We’ll be stepping outside the Canberra bubble and looking at how we can activate KJR’s sponsorship for all of our team, and the KJR Corporate Cup is the perfect vessel for this,” said Mr Hammond.

General Manager of the UC Capitals, Lucille Bailie, said that it’s great to have the support of KJR for another season.

“When it comes to basketball know-how, it’s hard to go past Paul Goriss and the UC Caps athletes and when it comes to maximising your businesses’ digital security and services, the UC Capitals go to KJR.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Andrew, Meg and the entire KJR team back on board with the UC Caps family. The past two seasons have been incredible for the club and working with great brands like KJR gives us even more fire power to continue on this trajectory,” said Ms Bailie.
