Statement regarding WNBL integrity breach

December 21, 2021 | UC Capitals news

Basketball Australia has today issued a five-game suspension to UC Capitals Head Coach Paul Goriss after breaching the National Framework for Ethical Behaviour and Integrity in Basketball.

The UC Capitals take issues of sport integrity with great seriousness and acknowledge Goriss’ actions, for which he has accepted responsibility for.

Goriss has demonstrated exemplary character on and off the court over many years and the club is supportive of Goriss now and into the future.

Assistant Coach Kennedy Kereama will step into the Head Coach role whilst Goriss carries out the suspension, due to end on January 20, 2022.
