The University of Canberra Capitals are thrilled to announce the RCL Group as a continuing major sponsor for the club, for the 2024/25 WNBL Season.

RCL Group is a privately owned development company that has been focused on building vibrant residential communities in both Australia and New Zealand since 2013.

This partnership sees two like-minded organisations, focused on contributing to the Canberra community, collaborating to deliver positive outcomes.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with RCL Group. Their commitment to the Caps throughout the years is a reflection to their commitment to the communities in which they work.” UC Capitals General Manager Lucille Bailie said.

“Together, we are excited to continue making a positive and lasting impact through sport.”

RCL Group CEO David Wightman welcomes the continued partnership with the Capitals and looks to leverage it to impact the growth of grassroots sport and increase participation, especially among young girls.

“Our continued support of the UC Capitals reflects our investment to help continue the growth of women’s basketball,” said Mr Wightman.

“In the past, we have worked with the Caps to support more regional and local clubs and associations, and moving forward, we want to build on this by bringing to life the Capitals Academy, as we aim to enhance basketball pathways and experiences for the next generation of ballers.”
