UC Capitals to wear Indigenous uniforms for the remainder of the season

The UC Capitals will wear their Indigenous uniforms for the remainder of the season, for both home and away games and including finals.
The decision was made by the playing group to show that our commitment to reconciliation and the celebration of First Peoples culture and history does not end after this round.
“For us, these uniforms are just a little way to contribute to change and awareness,” said Britt Smart today when the annnouncement was made.
The UC Capitals will first wear the uniforms this Sunday for our final home game of the regular season.
