Where to watch the UC Capitals this off season

Now that the dust has settled on another Cygnett WNBL season, it’s time for the UC Capitals to disperse and tip off their seasons in NBL1 or the WNBA.

From Darwin to Perth, Townsville to Ballarat, the Caps are spread right across the country and the globe. Abby Solway has taken her skills north, signing with the Darwin Salties in the NBL1 North conference, while Caps centre Alex Bunton is set to return to NBL1 for the first time in 5 years, signing with the Ballarat Miners. Three players will remain in the ACT, with Callie Bourne, Chloe Tugliach and Claudea Waihape-Andrews choosing to play under Head Coach Kristen Veal and the Canberra Nationals.

Jade Melbourne – Melbourne Tigers, NBL1 South and Seattle Storm, WNBA

Jayda Clark – Perry Lake Hawks, NBL1 West

Monica Okoye – Training with the Japanese National Team

Nicole Munger – Newcastle Falcons, NBL1 East

Bec Pizzey – Eltham Wildcats, NBL1 South

Shakera Reilly – Maitland Mustangs, NBL1 East
