ALLY WILSON SUITS UP FOR 200TH GAME
Two-time WNBL Champion, Ally Wilson is set to play her 200th game today when Bendigo Spirit takes on Melbourne Boomers.
Wilson started her career as a development player for Adelaide Lightning in 2010. She won Rookie of the Year in 2014 with the Townsville Fire.
That recognition moved her on to yielding two Championships with the Fire and the Sydney Flames; a club she spent 5 years at.
Internationally, the proud Ngarrindjeri woman was selected for the U19 Gems in 2013, taking home a bronze medal at the FIBA U19 Championship for Women in Lithuania. As well as suiting up for Australia in the first 3×3 basketball at the Commonwealth Games in 2022, securing a bronze.
Now in her second season with the Spirit, Wilson’s basketball is thriving. Currently averaging 11.7 points per game, along with 3.8 assists per game.
