Boomers heading to La Trobe Valley

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are heading to Gippsland for a basketball packed four day weekend!

Friday will include an open training session where you can come and snap a photo with your favourite Boomers players and an evening scrimmage against Latrobe City Energy under 18 boys team.

Saturday involves a 3×3 tournament where teams can compete for some awesome prizes thanks to the Boomers partnership with Latrobe Valley. There will also be clinics, workshops and wheelchair basketball to come and try.

The trip will conclude with a WNBL pre-season hit-out between the Boomers and Victorian rivals Bendigo SpiritCheck out the full schedule HERE and get along where you can.

This weekend is also the perfect opportunity for fans to explore membership options to support the Boomers for the 2019/20 WNBL season. This season The Boomers have included the options of the ‘Flexi 10’ and ‘4 Game’ Memberships. These options allow for fans to be apart of the Boomers membership family, even if they can’t get to every home game.

For those fans living out in Latrobe Valley the ‘Country’ membership is also a fantastic option to join the Boomers family. It gives access to five Boomers games to fans living more than 75km from the State Basketball Centre.

So whilst you’re enjoying all the basketball antics of the Triple Crown, make sure you figure out your best option for being a part of the Boomers family this season.
