Boomers Launch Season 18/19 Memberships
Season memberships to see the Deakin Melbourne Boomers in action during the 2018/19 WNBL season have officially gone on sale and according to Lauren Jackson AO, the club’s Assistant General Manager, joining the Boomers family “is the hottest ticket in town.”
“Tickets to our grand final game last season sold at more than one hundred per minute and it was the members snapping them up via their priority access, so it definitely pays to be a member. We are aiming for finals fevers again – something fans won’t want to miss,” said Jackson.
“I’m looking forward to leading our membership program again, last season was amazing, the number of juniors and families joining the Boomers was so rewarding for all of us, including the players.”
Memberships for the 2018/19 season include a new fully-catered area where up to 30 NBA-style seats await members along the edge of the court. Known as the Captain’s Club, food, drinks and finals access is included.
General admission memberships start from just $49 for juniors and $139 for adults. All season memberships include a Boomers member scarf.
“Becoming a member is the best way to support the Boomers, and girls and women in basketball,” said Jackson, adding “We are Melbourne’s WNBL team and the basketball community is getting right behind us. That support is invaluable.”
