Looking to get involved in an Elite Sporting Organisation? Get first-hand insight into the working world of sport by joining the Boom Crew!

The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are looking for Game Day and Event volunteer staff for the upcoming 2023/24 Cygnett WNBL Season.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who will approach any role given to them with a ‘can do’ attitude and take responsibility for getting the job done. We have a variety of volunteer positions to suit your strengths, passions and availability.

Roles Available:

• Customer Service – Ticketing, Merchandise, Membership
• Fan Activations – Venue, on-court
• Operations – Game Day Set-up / pack-down
• Game Day Floor sweepers
• Events – Club Events, Game Day Corporate Functions

We are looking for people who:

• Love Sport
• Want to learn new skills
• Are friendly, energetic and enthusiastic
• Are willing to pitch in and get your hands dirty
• Are young at heart (but no younger than 16 years of age)
• Are strong communicators and able to problem solve on the spot
• Are able to maintain professionalism and act responsibly
