Melbourne Ready To Greet Their Passionate Boomers Family
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers expect hundreds of passionate members and supporters to visit the State Basketball Centre to meet the players ahead of the 2018/19 Chemist Warehouse WNBL season.
While for most today marks a public holiday in the calendar, Melbourne’s WNBL team is hard at work with the players undertaking a full training session, including an open session to the public at 11am.
Lauren Jackson will be conducting a Super Clinic between 1pm and 3pm for full-season junior members, which will be followed by a Family Hour until 4pm when all members and supporters can meet the players for photos and autographs.
“It’s a fun day for all of us, we always love meeting our members and supporters,” said Jackson.
“Plus you can also check out our new merchandise range today, and for those who are yet to join as members, today is your chance!”
