Flames duo headline Gems’ World Cup squad

The Australian under 19 Gems squad, coached by Flames assistant Renae Garlepp, has been unveiled for the fast-approaching World Cup.
Headlining the 12-player squad, which will compete in the Czech Republic from July 12-20, is Flame #228 Bonnie Deas.
“Bonnie brings grit, confidence, and a real presence on the floor,” said Garlepp, who is excited to work with Arkansas commit Deas once again.
“She’s fearless, competes hard, and doesn’t back down, exactly the kind of edge we need at a World Cup.”
