Flames duo named in WNBL’s team of round six
Sydney Flames duo Lauren Nicholson and Tess Madgen have been rewarded for their exceptional play this week by being named in the WNBL’s team of round six.
In a round he Hoops Capital side secured gutsy road wins against Adelaide and Canberra, Sutherland product Nicholson averaged 23 points and three rebounds across the contests.
While Flame #220, who celebrated her 250th WNBL game against the Capitals, averaged 18.5 points, 3.5 dimes and three boards across the victories.

Joining the harbour city pair in the team of the round are Townssville’s Sami Whitcomb, Southside’s Nyadiew Puoch and Perth’s Aari McDonald.
The Flames will look to make it three wins on the bounce when they take on the Lynx in Perth on Wednesday from 9.30pm AEDT – with the game being broadcast on ESPN via Kayo Sports.
