Hayley Moffatt & Shanae Greaves- 100 WNBL Games
Congratulations to Hayley Moffat and Shanae Greaves who both play their 100th WNBL game in Round 4.
Hayley began her WNBL career with the West Coast Waves in the 2012/13 season. She then returned to her home state of Queensland to join the Logan Thunder for a year before signing with the Flames in 2014. The former Flames Defensive Player of the Year enjoyed a couple of successful seasons with the Flames before suffering a season-ending knee injury last year. Through hard-work and determination Hayley is back on court for the Flames in the 2017/18 WNBL season!
“I am so grateful to have made it to a milestone game, especially after my injury last season. I have enjoyed each season I have played in the WNBL and am excited to be on court again with the Flames girls,” Moffatt said of reaching 100 WNBL games.
Hailing from Victoria, Shanae started her WNBL career with the Melbourne Boomers in the 2013/14 WNBL season. She played three seasons with the Boomers, before moving to Sydney to join the Flames in the 2016/17 Championship winning season. At just 24 years of age, the energetic forward has a bright future ahead of her!
“The opportunity to play WNBL was something I always dreamed about as a kid. It is something I will be grateful for in years to come, not only for the on court experiences, but also the people I’ve met and memories made off the court too,” Greaves added.
Be at Brydens Stadium tonight to see Hayley and Shanae, along with their Flames teammates, take on the Melbourne Boomers at 7:30pm. Get your tickets here.
