This caps a strong start to the WNBL24 campaign for the 30-year-old during her second stint with the harbour city club, as she is currently second in the league in scoring at 17.6 points/game (behind only Perth’s Aari McDonald at 21.4) and fifth in the league in field goal percentage at 46.7 per cent.

This adds to the Sutherland junior’s accolades on Monday, after being named in the team of the round alongside fellow Flame Tess Madgen.

Nicholson, who will play her 150th game in the WNBL on Wednesday, and her Hoops Capital side next play the Lynx in Perth from 9.30pm AEDT – broadcast live on ESPN via Kayo Sports.
