Swain named in WNBL’s Team of Round 13
Sydney Flames young gun Shaneice Swain has once again been recognised for her strong performances on the court, by being named in the WNBL’s Team of Round 13.

During the Hoops Capital side’s two round 13 fixtures, Flame #224 Swain – who was also named on the Team of the Week in Round Five – produced 40 points (including seven triples), six rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block against Townsville before tallying nine points, four boards and one steal versus Perth.
Joining the harbour city star in the Team of the Week are Canberra’s Jade Melbourne (Player of the Week), Townsville’s Courtney Woods, Bendigo’s Kelsey Griffin and Perth’s Ally Wilson.
Swain’s Flames now head to Canberra to face the UC Capitals on Thursday, January 30 – with the match being broadcast live on 9Now from 7.30pm AEDT.
The next home fixture for Molloy’s side is on Wednesday, February 12 against Townsville – with tickets to the Quaycentre clash (from 6.45pm AEDT) still available here.
