Tupaea joins Bulls’ stampede for NBL1 East season

The Inner West Bulls announced on Tuesday the signing of Sydney Flames’ Talhia Tupaea for the 2025 NBL1 East season.

Starting her professional career with the Flames at the young age of 15 alongside her idol Alicia Poto, Tupaea has accumulated an array of incredible accolades on the national and international stage, including being a WNBL champion, Australian Gem and Opal, New Zealand Tall Fern and WNBA Draft pick.

Tupaea, who last season averaged 24.84 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.26 assists with the Penrith Panthers during the 2024 NBL1 East season, is keen to join the Bulls this campaign.

“I’m excited to head into the upcoming NBL1 season with the Bulls,” Flame #147 Tupaea said. 

“I’m looking forward to spending this time with familiar faces, on and off the court.”
