Asia Taylor named in WNBL All-Star Five
For the third consecutive year, Perth Lynx forward Asia Taylor, has been named in the WNBL All-Star Five for the 2018/19 WNBL season.
The team was announced on Monday night in Melbourne, at the 2018/19 Chemist Warehouse WNBL Awards Night.
Taylor led the league in scoring with 415 points, and was named in the WNBL Team of The Week six times over the course of the season, which was the second-most out of any player in the league.
Kelsey Griffin, Lindsay Allen, Nia Coffey, and Rebecca Cole were the other names listed in the prestigious team.
Taylor’s best game came in an 18-point victory over the Bendigo Spirit, where she scored 33 points, nine rebounds, two assists and five steals.
The 27-year-old was also awarded the 2018/19 Perth Lynx MVP last week.
