Perth Lynx fans should be excited about the form currently being displayed by new recruit Ariel Atkins in the WNBA.

The Washington Mystics guard piled on 14 points, six assists, four rebounds and five steals in a win over Chicago, followed by 15 points, three assists and four rebounds in yesterday’s home win against Connecticut.

The Mystics have now won their last five.

Fellow American recruit Imani McGee-Stafford’s Dallas Wings split the results of their last two games.

Back home in the SBL, Lynx players Maddie Allen and Lauren Mansfield faced off as Perth Redbacks defeated Rockingham 72-67.

Allen went for 11 points, 13 rebounds and three assists, while Mansfield contributed 11 points, five rebounds and three assists.
