Perth Lynx Schedule Released!

July 26, 2017 | Perth Lynx news
The 2017/18 WNBL schedule has been released, with a new look format and plenty of evening games on the way for the Perth Lynx. Contested under a new look format, the upcoming WNBL regular season will take place between October and December, and sees all teams play each other three times. The Lynx open the season at home, hosting the reigning champion Sydney Uni Flames on Sunday 8 October. In a season with 21 games across 13 weeks, the Lynx will look to use an early three game home stand as a building block for the campaign. The Perth Lynx will host 10 home games under the new format, with 10 away games and one game at a neutral venue filling out the schedule. Round 8 promises to be one of the highlights of the fixture, with each team heading to Victoria for a ‘cluster round’ – a quadruple-header taking place over one weekend at the State Basketball Centre in Melbourne. WNBL finals begin on Wednesday 3 January, with the Grand Final set to tip off on Saturday 13 January. One game each week, plus every WNBL final, will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, with the individual televised fixtures to be announced at a later date.
