Garlepp named coach of Australian under 15 women’s team

Sydney Flames’ Renae Garlepp will add more national honours to her collection in the coming months after being named the head coach of the Australian under 15 women’s side.

Garlepp, who is Sydney’s assistant coach and program director of the Harvey Norman Future Flames, and her green and gold squad of 20 players will head into camp at the Centre of Excellence on October 1-3 – ahead of the Oceania Championships in Canberra from November 10-16.

This honour comes after Garlepp was the Australian Opals’ assistant during their trip to Shenyang as well as to Shenzhen with the Australian Gems.

Garlepp’s squad for the camp includes NSW products Sasha Clague and Angela Tako as well as Queensland’s Eden Catip, Jovana Ilic, Violet Johnson, Lily Mapp, Mya Moke, Olivia Olechnowicz, Jade Sherrington and Isabel Smith, Victoria’s Elise Napier, Sophie Richardson, Madison Ryan, Willow Smith and Vanessa Tavete, South Australia’s Alek Deng Deng, Annaliese Elliot, Lara Gribben, Daisy Hocking and Western Australia’s Keira Robinson.
